Fashion design workflow webapp
Leading from discovery to delivery. I collaborated across design, technology, product and brand. Virtual Atelier facilitates a collaborative work environment, enabling designers, Technical Designers Fashion Designers, 3D Sample Makers and stakeholders to work seamlessly together.
By organizing and managing the exchange of digital fashion assets, the Virtual Atelier ensures that the history of communication is meticulously tracked and that the latest iterations of virtual garments and accessories are readily accessible for final sign off across multiple departments.
Flexible Access & Hierarchical Permission System
Designed a multi-level access control system tailored for large fashion organizations managing confidential collections and distributed teams. Users could structure collections by season, product line, and garment type, then assign roles (e.g., admin, editor, guest) at any level — from entire seasons to specific products.
This flexible permission model supported complex organizational hierarchies, allowing teams to share or restrict access with precision. It enabled secure collaboration across departments, agencies, and vendors while protecting sensitive data and maintaining editorial control.
Product Workspace Interface (Virtual Sample Page)
Designed a centralized product workspace where teams can view and manage all related information for a single garment. The left panel displays product metadata, linked assets (tech packs, materials, patterns), and a live activity feed showing recent actions. On the right, users can interact with a 3D virtual sample, enabling annotation, commenting, and sharing.
The interface integrates milestones and workflow status, allowing assigned team members to update product stages (e.g., "Ready for Review"). This system mimics task management tools like Jira but is tailored for fashion development, visualizing both asset completion (like a roadmap) and team progress through the milestone module. This product-level dashboard gives full visibility into a garment’s lifecycle within the broader collection.
Audit and tracking
Lightweight audit system designed to reduce communication gaps in digital garment workflows.
This feature enabled version clarity, contextual notifications, and traceable design feedback, solving a key friction point for cross-functional fashion teams.
Material Upload
Connected material library designed for at-scale garment development. Designers could upload or reuse approved brand assets (e.g., trims, fabrics, embellishments) directly within the platform, with access control, audit history, and centralized sourcing that replaced scattered external tools.
