Bimbo Casa is a premium children's furniture and lifestyle company built on a single conviction: that a child's world should be designed with the same taste and intention as the rest of the home. We built the brand from zero with the founder — strategy, identity, voice, packaging, and commerce architecture — around wild, nature-inspired products made beautiful by the restraint of everything around them.

Outcome: A complete brand and commerce system — identity, packaging, campaign, and site — built to hold its own against the parents' design references, not just the children's category it belongs to.

01 — Diagnosis

What the brief asked for, and what the work actually was.

The briefThe actual problem

Build a luxurious, whimsical brand for a premium children's lifestyle company. → Premium kids' brands have converged on a shared visual vocabulary — pastels, hand-drawn marks, soft sans-serifs. Inside that vocabulary, you compete on price. Outside it, you compete on taste. We had to build outside it.

Design a Shopify site that feels premium and on-brand. → In Hong Kong, this category buys offline. The site had to do the work of a flagship retail experience — every collection page a room, not a search result. Every product a character with a story behind it.

Put the wildness in the product. Keep the system quiet around it.

Every product in the line is already doing storytelling work. The Tulip armchair. The Lion rug. The Polar Bear playmat. The Leopard — flat on the floor, head up, looking at you. Each one is a small piece of nature brought indoors and made calm. Our job was to design around them with enough restraint that they could read clearly. Neutral site chrome so collection colour comes from the products. Voice that describes the objects without performing wonder. Packaging that carries one motif and nothing else. The brand never competes with the product for attention. In this category, the product is the only thing the buyer is choosing.

Brand System A packaging family that travels

Mailer boxes in natural kraft, striped shopping bag with ribbon handles, wordmark applied with restraint across every surface. The brand stripe pattern — neutral, architectural, never loud — is the system's only ornament. It carries the brand off the screen and into the world without announcing itself.
